uCMDB 8.05 - LDAP configuration

[ Edited ]

Hi there,

We're using uCMDB 8.05 and recently connected it to Microsoft Active Directory.

In "Infrastructure settings - LDAP Configuration - LDAP Group Definition" I have "Enable nested groups" checked as "True".

But when I go to LDAP Manager and click "List Users" on a AD-group which is nested, I see nothing, nor can an user which a member of the nested group login.

Am I misunderstanding the "Nested groups" option in the settings (because nested groups are not supported) or is this a bug in the uCMDB LDAP Configuration?

Thank you.

Best regards,
Oskar

1. Did you map the LDAP group to UCMDB group?
2. What's the approximate size of your group (i mean, if it's huge, it will probably take ages)?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I mapped the AD group over to an uCMDB one.

There are 19 members today in that nested group.
