uCMDB 9.02: How to create pattern view by using Regular expression ?

[ Edited ]

Hi,
I have a list of servers names and I have to create a view for those servers.But the problem is that servers names are following naming conventions.
In Query Node properties, attribute value field is not taking any pattern matching characters other than "%" symbole. why?
Can't we create regular expressions in tht value field?

Please anyone guide me on this.Points will be awarded and help would be appreciated.

Hi,

This field does not support regular expressions.
what is the naming convention you are using ? maybe you can add a condition to the view not by the server CI name but by a related CI name (and make the related CI hidden)

Thanks Amit.

I already related those servers with Process CIT.we have only server names.Servers names are in "xxxxxxxxp999xxx" pattern.

where x=any alphabetic characters
9=any numerics

letter "p" comes in 9th position.That is constant. and after "p" three numbers will come.

Hi,

Try to work with the Identity tab, but choosing which CI to see in the view.
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
