Email to fax issues.
Hello, lets see if anyone is still looking at these boards.
I have an issue with our email to fax setup. We have a VCX enteprise solution with a seperate IPM server which the emails are directed to. I can see the emails hitting the ipm server through the log files but I can't work out why they are not been sent to the relevant fax machines. I have attached a log from the log files of one of the calls. Please let me know if you spot an issue with it.

N.B. Incoming faxes to mailboxes work fine, it is just the email to fax that is having issues.

Re: Email to fax issues.
Hi Gareth,
What happens if you walk up to a fax machine and dial the fax number exactly as IP Messaging should be directing the call processor to do, i.e. 901922xxxxxx
Another possibility is if you're using "Profile-based" routing on the VCX, there needs to be a "catch-all" route plan that does not use a profile, directed to a gateway that will place those outgoing calls.
Does it make a difference if you email different file formats?
If none of those suggestions help, then contacting HP Technical Support is probably the next step. They would probably want to see a detailed IP Messaging, call processor, and gateway log of the email to fax attempt.

Re: Email to fax issues.
If i dial the 01922 number directly the fax rings and recieves, so the fax looks like it is setup correctly. I have set a default route for any 9* number to go to ISDN, that still does not work, if I use different file formats it fails at the IPM to send. Looks like I will need to log a job with support, thank you for your thoughts.
