ISDN / CAS Trace

A few months ago i opened a case on hp because  the VCX (9.5.13 on V7005) was dropping some calls, they told me that the failure was extrange because is something that happens randomly, so the HP Support send me a procedure, but i have problems to collect the trace, i have manuals of version 4 of the V7122 and show something but I have 5.6 version, recently I find the 5.6 version manual, but in this version there is nothing about pstntrace or trunktrace, could anyone help me to obtain this trace with 5.6 version media gateway ?

 

 

This is the procedure that I have to do

*enable gateway syslog

*ISDN/CAS capture via the embedded web on gateways

*Traffic capture via VCX AA on eth0 (CallP) creating 4 files and overwriting the information

*Identify the user with more indicence

*Some telephone port captures

Those options are in the telnet/ssh interface. Enable it first.

You can watch the trace in realtime by opening the message log under diagnostics - that is the trace. Just leave a browser window open and walk away.
