HP Integrity Virtual Machines Diskspace Problem
Hi All,
I am having a HP BL870C Blade centre.
I setup the VM host and created 3 VM Guests of 50Gb space using lvols from VM Host.Recently
I increased the physical memory of VM guests from 4GB to 8GB.So now i need to increase the swap space also. Shall I can increase the disk space of VM Guest by extending the corresponding lvols from VM Host. Will it detect the VM guest

Re: HP Integrity Virtual Machines Diskspace Problem
Maybe it is better to present another disk device to the virtual machine and vgextend this to vg00.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP Integrity Virtual Machines Diskspace Problem
well it depends on how much free space there is on the "disk" that the VM sees. If there are free PE's and enough to give you what you need for additional swap space, then simple create a new Lvol on teh VM and assign it to swap space. If not, the simplest way is to add an extra "disk" to the VM.
