[HPVM] linux guest on 6.20?

I've recently upgraded HPVM to 6.20, in order to support OpenVMS as a guest, and this works well; however, this prevents me from running Linux as a guest because 6.20 doesn't support VIO (only AVIO, which isn't available to linux-type guests.)

Is there a possible workaround using 6.20? Such as using a SAN or else, or perhaps, using a hpux-type of VM with a different memory profile?

Well, V6.20 doesn't support OpenVMS nor Linux so the basic idea was wrong, it seems.

You may want to go for V4.3 - it supports OpenVMS, at least. Linux guests are not supported by any supported

HPVM release anymore. But V4.3 supports VIO so you may have better luck with Linux there.

Re: [HPVM] linux guest on 6.20?

I do not have 4.3 handy, but I have a copy of 4.20.5, would this work?

And what are the odds that I can just remove the 6.x HPVM packages and install 4.20.5 on this few-months-old hpux install.
