How can I release the VM memory

Hi,

I have a hpux VSP which hold several VMs.

Recently, I shutdowned thress VMs,  seems that the memory is still allocated by these VMs.  the used mem is 93%.  The VSP has no other applications running. So how can I release the memory used by the halted VMs.... Thanks in advance.

Re: How can I release the VM memory

That's normal and expected - memory for VMs on a VSP is preallocated at boot time. See Admin guide.

You can run:
# hpvmhwmgmt -p memory -l

I work for HPE

Thanks for the answer. It's clear from the hpvmhwmgmt...
