Integrity VM 3.5 - adding disk devices to a VM guest

Im running Int VM 3.5 on 11iv3 host. I have a VM 11iv3 guest.

Currently i have 14 disk devices tat were added using 0-13 for the target (t) value and 1 for the device number

What the max for the target value ...15??

I can start with device 2 and go from there..

hpvmmodify -p guest -a disk:scsi:0,1,t:/dev/dsk/cxtxdx

( i know the max scsi devices is 30 for one guest)

Re: Integrity VM 3.5 - adding disk devices to a VM guest

I was able to add another device the th VM guest

In my bus/dev/ftn/tgt list...0,1,14 was available was next so I used it..no problems.

Now 010 thru 0114 is in use and thats 15 devices to one"controller" now

I can start with 020 (would have to restasrt the guest) but I noticed that the last assigned device under 0/0/0/x was 0/0/9  So in addtion to the 15 under 010-thru 0114 i have another 10 assigned from 000 to 009

This is a total of 25 devices. I believe my limit under  IVM 3.5 is 30!

Im going to use 0010-0014 to assign a few more new devices.
