Log files on SMH web page are displayed without the date tag in HP-UX

First question:
We are running OpenVMS guests on an HP-UX VM host.

When is HP going to release a better logfile layout for both host and guests ?

The timestampt for each entry is there but the date stamp is missing.

Can you be more specific about which log file you're referring to? Is this a log file on the VM Host? Inside the VM Guest? Can you provide the actual path to the log, a snippet of the log that you're concerned about, and provide a proposed format you'd like to see?

Thanks,

Dave

The log files on an HP-UX host are ok but in the SMH web page they are displayed without the date tag.

Thank you for the information.  We have become aware that the log output in SMH does not include the date stamp, and plan to address this in a future release.

mvecaj,

There is a new version of the VMMGR (the SMH management tool for HP Integrity VM)  posted on software.hp.com (keyword VMMGR). It is listed with the following new name:  "Integrity Virtual Server Manager" (VSMgr).

Check  the compatibility matrix in the description page and, if suitable for your infra, install it. The problem is fixed.
