Unable to delete resource from HPVM
Hi,
I am unable to delete resource from HPVM. Please assist me to delete the resorce.
# hpvmmodify -p 1 -d dvd:avio_stor::disk:/dev/rdisk/disk64
hpvmmodify: Unable to find device dvd:avio_stor::disk:/dev/rdisk/disk64.

Did you try using the "-F" (force) option for hpvmmodify ? You might need to do it with the VM stopped...

Yes, i've tried with -F option when vm was stopped. But it doesn't work. Please assist us.

Hmmm - presumably that disk (disk64) has been removed from the system before it was deleted from the VM?
It's not really supported but you could try (with the guest stopped) editing the file /var/opt/hpvm/guest/<guest_name>/vmm_config.current and removing the reference from there? Otherwise I think you'll need to log a call with HPE.
