Re: hpux virtualization (HP VSE )
well you seem to have just randomly installed a bunch of products here...this looks like a classic case of not reading the manual and release notes before ploughing on with installation:
http://docs.hp.com/en/vse.html#HP%20Integrity%20Virtual%20Machines
first point is if this is 11iv3 (11.31) then you need to be on at least the Sep 08 (0809)release to run HPVM4.0 and really you might as well go to the March 09 release (0903) and run HPVM4.1 - you haven't given us a full swlist output, but this looks like only March 08 (0803) which won't run HPVM at all.
There are other problems here (like having v3 and v4 of some of the management tools both installed and having SIM installed on a VM host - you can't have that), but to be homest you would be much better to just re-install from a March 2009 OE and then install the HPVM software. If you don't own a copy you can get the trial version here:

Re: hpux virtualization (HP VSE )
That's right........
HP-Simm will not work on same box as HPVM.
Remove HP-Simm and when your done go back and make sure you got it all because lately swremove is leaving way too many footprints and not removing software cleanly.
Remove HPVM.
Once your convinced it's all clean of HP-Simm, then reload HPVM.
Now - I just had this happen to me a few weeks ago. I had to rebuild my box. I won't waste your time explaining, but it wasn't pretty.
Have fun!
