HP router equivalent to Cisco 1941 & 1921 / hp switch equivalent to cisco 2960
Can someone tell me, which is the best competitive router of hp against Cisco 1941 & Cisco 1921
customer is trying to evaluate hp against Cisco
Looking for either of this two options
1. Link to be terminated on two router - must be on active - active mode
2. 2 link terminate on same router & if one fails other should work.
In same network they have Cisco 2960, which hp switch can we use to replace it ( switch should be stackable & mostly with irf)
Pls give ur suggestions

Re: HP router equivalent to Cisco 1941 & 1921 / hp switch equivalent to cisco 2960
If you're looking at stackable switches, look at the 2920 or the 3800.
If you put in a stack of 3800s you might be able to use that stack as both yuor router and switch, thus saving you space money and power.
Are you looking at 10Gb ports? You get lots of these with the 2920 or 3800-48 ports. (4x 10Gb ports each)
How about 40Gb ports? If so, try the 5900, which is also stackable.
