Hi Team,

              We have inserted the following two HPE HSR6800 FIP-380 Flex Int Pltfrm Mod JM050A slot  in 6802 Router but showing unknown status for those slot. Could you suggest on this..

For how long do they stay in this "Unknown" state? I see the uptime is 2 minutes only. Did you give them enough time to boot?

Hi team,

              This is new implementation and yesterday only powered on the devices but still slot is unknow status so once again reboot the chassis. These logs captured immediately after rebooting so that showing 2min uptime.

FIP-380 is mentioned for the first time in release notes of HSR6800_7.10.R7809P19 release. I suggest you to upgrade your router to that version - https://h10145.www1.hpe.com/downloads/DownloadSoftware.aspx?SoftwareReleaseUId=28160&ProductNumber=JH075A&lang=&cc=&prodSeriesId=&SaidNumber=

Logically thinking, yes. Did I test it? No. But I would definitely try the P20, if it doesn't work, then try P19.

I have same issue here, im inserted JM050A into HSR 6804,

the LED is off and status is unknown

already update to P20 but the result still same

Hi @dittoyuda !

Could you post the output from following commands while the module is plugged in:

display version
display device verbose
display alarm

Also, mention the slot your FIP-380 resides in.

BTW, it will be good to check logbuffer in your router using "display logbuffer" command for any errors related to the slot where the FIP-380 is plugged in or the FIP-380 module itself. Did you check it?
