1950 IRF
Rgds!
Is it possible now or in the future to do IRF (or any other stacking option) betwen HP SWITCH 1950 JG and 1950 JH?
If the las statement is not possible, what is the HPE version of the Cisco HSRP to work between an HP SWITCH 1950 JG and 1950 JH?
Thank you very much!

Hello @rnoboa, the answer to your first question is No (if the purpose is to create an IRF Stack using a mix of JG96xA models - where the x can be 0, 1, 2 and/or 3 - WITH the particular JH295A model available within the same HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series [*] family): the HPE 1950 12XGT 4SFP+ Switch (JH295A) can form a IRF Stack only with Switches of the same type (others JH295A), at least this is what is reported on HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series Getting Started Guide.
[*] the whole HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series includes these models:
- HPE 1950 24G 2SFP+ 2XGT Switch (JG960A)
- HPE 1950 48G 2SFP+ 2XGT Switch (JG961A)
- HPE 1950 24G 2SFP+ 2XGT PoE+ Switch (JG962A)
- HPE 1950 48G 2SFP+ 2XGT PoE+ Switch (JG963A)
- HPE 1950 12XGT 4SFP+ Switch (JH295A)

Do you mean something like implementing VRRP using one JG96xA and one JH295A?
If so, the very basic question will became: will the HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series support VRRP at first?
IMHO no...
