ARP table vs Interface Statistics

Hi,

I have an HP 1920 with 24 ports. There is an up stream firewall/router connected to port 24 and endpoints connected to ports 1, 17, 21 and 23. This is confirmed in the Device > Interface Stastics web page.

However, when I view the Network > ARP Management web page, I see a MAC address for 1 endpoint connected to Port 1. All other Mac addresses (there are 7) seemingly connected to Port 24.

I appreciate there are more MAC addresses than physically connected ports, as some of the enpoints are running VM's. However, I don't understand why ARP is showing them all connected to Port 24 - the firewall.

How is this?

Thanks in advance.

Re: ARP table vs Interface Statistics

The "wrong" addresses being mapped on port 24, should be mapped on which switch interface?
