Connecting multiple switches

Is there a problem using four 1810g-24 switches connected with a cat 6 patch cable? The first switch would also be connected to a fifth 1810g-24 in another building via fiber using the gbic slot.

I chose the 1810 because four of these are cheaper than two of the 2810g-48. I need the gigabit connectivity.

Topology? Star or daisy-chain? In any case, make sure you don't create a loop without running spanning-tree.
