HP Procurve 1810G and Engenius ECB 9500 AP
The Engenius accesspoint has Multiple SSID with 802.1q VLAN Tagging and I want to setup two SSID's, one ssid who can only connect to the internet and one ssid who can connect to my network and the internet. I use a Draytek Vigor 2130 router who supports port-based VLAN. Port 4 on the Vigor 2130 is isolated from port 1, 2 and 3. So port 4 can only access the internet because my internal network is on port 1, 2 and 3. Port 1,2 and 3 can also access the internet.
I want to use the 1810G-8 for the multiple SSID with one guest SSID for only internet access and one SSID for internet en network access on the Engenius accesspoint.
I want to connect the engenius on port 8, port 4(only internet access) of the vigor on port 6 and port 3 (internet en network access) of the vigor on port 7.
Port 6 Internet
Port 7 Network / Internet
Port 8 AP
Vlan 2 (Vlan ID=2, PVID=2)
Port 6 U
Port 8 T
Vlan 3 (Vlan ID=3, PVID=3)
Port 7 U
Port 8 T
Will the above configuration do this job or do i need to use a port thrunk?
