Help with VLAN settings for HP 1810G

Dear Community,

I have tried setting up Vlans on my Procurve several times but obviously, i must have incorrect settings for I ended up resurrecting the default config of the switch in the end.

This is a diagram of my setup for information.

This is how I set it up:

HP 1810G Switch
Port 1 2 3 4 5 6 ......16 17

Vlan101 U U U
Trunk T T

VLan104 U U
Port T

HP1800 Switch
VLan 101 U U U
Trunk T

Vlan 103 U U
Trunk T
