I have an odd issue with my procurve 1810 switch, i can only access the web management when using a static ip on the assigned vlan. If i set a my client machine to DHCP i can't access the management anymore, why is this?
Anytime i need to make changes to that switch i need to set my laptop with a static ip then go and physically connect to the switch to make changes.

SolutionI finally took the time to look into this more, I needed to configure another interface on my firewall then run another cable from the switch to the interface on the firewall. With both interfaces (one from the firewall & the switch) configured on the same subnet i am now able to access the web interface of the switch from the management vlan.
