JG537A 1910-8G stuck on Bootware Validating

Hello

I have recently acquired two new JG537A. I have unboxed the first one, ran through the ipsetup and then rebooted it but now it just sits at Bootware Validating. It will allow me to do a CTRL D prior to that but does not get to the CTRL B outlined in the documentation.

Can someone please advise as to how I rectify this

Thanks

Hello,

Have you tried to do factory reset?

Thanks!

Re: JG537A 1910-8G stuck on Bootware Validating

Hi

It doesn't give me any option to do so and there is no obvious reset button on the physical device.

Thanks

Re: JG537A 1910-8G stuck on Bootware Validating

I fixed it by follwing this thread in two different places

https://community.hpe.com/t5/Web-and-Unmanaged/HP-V1910-24G-Switch-Application-program-does-not-exist/td-p/6441786

Firstly in the CTRL D section I updated the bootrom and that then got me through to the CTRL B section where I updated the primary and backup Application.
