Link-aggregattion with media converter
Hi ,
I have a problem. I need to create a link-aggegattion between the array and the branch of my company.
I created the link-aggegattion with 2 ports. The interconnection between the array and the branch was done through optical fiber.
I'm using a media converter on the array and a media converter on the branch.
The link-aggregation is not working. I configured the link-aggegattion in dynamic mode.
Can you help me? How can I create link-aggegattion?

The switch models are HP 1910 and HP 5500
I've attached an image in the post.

Re: Link-aggregattion with media converter
hi,
Post both bridgeaggregation configurations, the 4 interface configurations (and the switch they belong to), and the software versions of the swtiches.
E.g.
switch (with bagg 10): display current-configuration interface Bridge-Aggregation 10 display current-configuration interface <interface in BAGG10> display current-configuration interface <other interface in BAGG10> display version switch (the otherswitch): display current-configuration interface Bridge-Aggregation <BAGG-otherswitch> display current-configuration interface <interface in BAGG-otherswitch> display current-configuration interface <other interface in BAGG-otherswitch> display version
Also, how is the link aggregation not working? What does the log say when you "up the links"?

Re: Link-aggregattion with media converter
Hi
Thanks for reply.
Just one more thing. If I plug one of the cables into LAG, it works. But if I connect the 2 cables in the LAG, the second is with static light and the second member does not work. But if I disconnect the cable from the first port, the second one works.
Thanks!
