Need Help !! TRUNK between HP V1910 Switch and Cisco WS-C3650-48PQ Switch
Hello ,
I have two VLANs [VLAN0001(default) and VLAN0100] created in Cisco C3650 switch. The default Vlan VLAN0001 is working fine with all the HP V1910 switches.
Each HP V1910 switch is connected to the Cisco C3650 core switch through a Cat6 cable.
All the PCs in the VLAN001 can communicate with every other PC on other switches. But, the VLAN0100 PCs on Cisco switch cannot communcate with the VLAN0100 PCs in HP V1910 switches.
I tried with Vlan Tagging option for VLAN0100 but no use. I dont have any experience in configuring the TRUNK links on the HP Switches.
I'd appreciate if someone assist me in resolving this issue.

Re: Need Help !! TRUNK between HP V1910 Switch and Cisco WS-C3650-48PQ Switch
On the 1910, you need to add VLAN100 tagged to the port that connects it to the Cisco.
On the Cisco, you need to change the port that connects it to the 1910 to "switchport mode trunk". Depending on how old your firmware is, do "switchport trunk encap dot1q" first.
