Set parameter MEDIA TYPE Switch 1920-48G
Good Morning!
I am in need of a help on on the switch 1920-48G JG927A. The first block of ports does not work some of the physical ports; I could verify in comparison with other physical ports of the same switch that the MEDIA TYPE is configured as fiber optic, but in fact it should be as twisted pair.
I already accessed the configuration by cmdline-mode on to try to make the change to twisted pair, but I could not find a way to do this.
The configuration parameter to be addressed is MEDIA TYPE, which I can not change in the 1920-48G optical fiber model for twisted pair.

Re: Set parameter MEDIA TYPE Switch 1920-48G
Pretty strange...if it recognizes a block of copper ports as SFP slots...is really worrying (the JG927A owns 4 SFP ports, latest four on the frontplane right side).
Which software release is your JG927A currently running on? does it run on R1120 or older?
Can you provide (sanitized) running configuration?
I'm not an HPE Employee

Re: Set parameter MEDIA TYPE Switch 1920-48G
Good Morning! Sorry for the delay. The version I use is R1120.
Current boot app is: flash:/jg927a-cmw520-r1120.bin
Below are the settings for port 1 and port 17 for a comparison.
Alerting that the to 07 works normally and port 1 does not work.
I recall that I believe that port 1 is configured for fiber optics and would like to change this configuration.

Re: Set parameter MEDIA TYPE Switch 1920-48G
Look at the MEDIA TYPE parameter, where I say it's different. On port 1 it is configured as fiber optic, but it is twisted pair port on the physical.
