Switch troubleshooting
hello
i have an hp 1910 series switch that is not working properly
the power led blinks and 4 ports have stable green light even thought no cable is connected
i update the firmware , reinitialized the swtch ( to factory settings ) and even disabled the ports but they are still green
what can i do ?

Hi,
There is a possibility that the ports are failing self test and may require a RMA. Do you see any events in the log buffer related to these ports.

even after disabling the ports they are still solid green .
i will check the logs , but i am sure it's warranty has expired
