VLan Problem

i got a problem with a 1910 switch my situation is this:

I have to set 2 VLAN's with ip Address  192.168.20.0/24 with VLAN ID 1,an other with VLAN ID 2 on IP  172.16.0.0/24.

The Port is as u can see

Now ports from 1 to 4 are in VLAN 1,instead the ports from 5 to 8 are in VLAN 2.All ports are untagged i Access mode, the ports from  1 to 4 got PVID 1,the 5 to 8 PVID 2.

I created the interfaces on ip address 192.168.20.1 for VLAN 1 and 172.16.0.1 for VLAN 22015-05-25 17_10_29-HP 1910-8-PoE+ (65W) Switch Software Version Release 1108.jpg

I dont need a DHCP at the moment

IPV4 routing is this 2015-05-25 17_12_02-HP 1910-8-PoE+ (65W) Switch Software Version Release 1108.jpg

Now ,whythe VLAN 1 Members can ping the VLAN 2 members, and VLAN 2 pings VLAN1?

Any suggestion?

Re: VLan Problem

Hello Alfredo,

The 1910 Switch Series are advanced smart-managed fixed configuration switches in an easy-to-administer solution. Customizable features include basic layer 2 features like VLANs and link aggregation as well as advanced features such as Layer 3 static routing and ACLs.By default Intervaln routings are enabled on this switch .Thats why you are able to ping between Vlans .If you want to disable Intervlan routing you need to enable Acess control list
