Oracle 10g on Windows 2003 (64bit) setting OS page file size

We have a situation where perfstat is reporting that there is 11gb of free ram but it is still paging to disk for memory operations. Have 16gb of ram and page file size is set to 16gb. How do we get the server to use as much ram as possible and not swap to disk?

hi,

have a look for example on v$pga_target_advice, v$db_cache_advice, v$shared_pool_advice to see whether your memory is properly sized. it will give as well hint what might be suitable increase.
