"team" nics together

hi

We have WIN2003 SP2 64-Bit server with 2 network interfaces.
At the moment 1 nic is ACTIVE.
Howto "team" these 2 nics together with the same IP Address?
Is it possible to configure load balancing on these 2 nics?

Re: "team" nics together

Chris,
In order to get both NICs active on both directions(tx and rx), both of them must be connected to the same external switch, and it must be capable of doing port aggregation, static or LACP, this will end up being a SLB or 802.3ad team on the HP NCU. If you are planing to connect each NIC to a different switch for redundacy porpuses, then the best teaming option will be TLB, in this case only the tx traffic will be balanced.
