Can not Locate the Quorum Disk

I hv installed windows 2003 enterprise server on Vmware. When configuring clustering on the 1st node getting error on locating quorum disk

Didn't find the ManageDisksOnSystemBuses value in the registry. (hr = 0x00000001)

The physical disk "Disk Z:" cannot be managed because it is on the same storage bus as the boot disk.

I have added a SCSI disk(NTFS).

Re: Can not Locate the Quorum Disk

Hi,

You need to give us more info about what kind of SAN you have.

There could be an error in the LUN presentation to your windows cluster. Also check the administration guide of your SAN, and check if you need to configure more options for this LUN (SCSI3/persistant reservation) to a windows cluster.

Re: Can not Locate the Quorum Disk

I misread your question, i was asuming a 2008 cluster.

Have a look at this document for windows 2003 clustering.
