KB931304 (from MS Cluster QFE with SP2) prevents further installs

After applying the "MS Cluster QFE with SP2 English" download under "HP Integrity rx3600 Servers" location, installation of additional QFE's or other applications afterwards would not occur. The installation would begin (i.e. splash screen explaining what was being installed) and then would disapear acting as though you clicked cancel without a confirmation. I narrowed it down to KB931304 causing the issue. After removing, I could continue with the additional QFE's (OS, Security) and driver installs. I also had the same exact issue with another Microsoft hotfix (KB931308) which was resolved by yet another hotfix (KB929413). My questions -

Has anyone else had this issue with KB931304 (specifically from the QFE install)?
Is this a highly recommended hotfix? And if so, is there a hotfix for this?

After spending some time with the University of Google and Microsoft, I cannot find others who have had this issue and would be nice to have confirmation if this is hotfix being uninstalled won't be an issue.
