ML150 G3 and HP Insight Management WBEM Providers

I’m trying to gather some data from WMI about the RAID status of your ML150 G3, G5 and G6.

I have installed HP Insight Management WBEM Providers v2.8 and the servers are running Windows 2003 SBS 32-bit.

The HPQ namespace on the G5 and G6 contains data and everything works fine, but on the G3 servers RAID volumes classes has no instances. The servers have been rebooted but made no difference…

Anyone knows why this is working on some servers and not others?

Hi,

There could be some issue with OS itself, check the Windows Event Logger if any error message displayed with regards to WMI or HP WBEM. Even WMI should be working properly on the OS front.

Also make sure the server is upto date with firmware, driver and any utilities/management software.
