NetRAID (D4943) controller & Windows XP/2003 Server

I have inherited a NetRaid D4943 controller card. I would like to setup the controller in my Windows XP (to be upgraded to Win2003 Server) server. My server sees the NetRaid but the controller itself is not detecting any of my hard drives (installed in a Dell PowerVault 201S). Any suggestions, drivers etc would be welcomed.

The NetRAID D4943 controller is not supported with Windows 2000 or anything moving forward including Windows XP and Windows 2003. The only hope you may have is to check out LSI Logics web site and see if they have a driver that may work. The D4943 was an OEM AMI product, which was bought by LSI. So, you may check out the LSI support web site at:

I highly doubt that you will be able to find a driver even from LSI. Good luck.
