Inplace Migration auf w2k3r2 -> w2008r2 on Proliant ML 150 G6
Hello,
I try a in place migration from w2k3 r2 x64 to win 2008 r2 for some days now.
Just before the upgrade process has finished I get an error "Windows 2008 can't be configured on this hardware" and the upgrade is rolled back.
Therfore I searched in the ms knowledge base to find some solution.
I've found KB2466753 and KB953224 looks like to solve my problem.
But this is not the case. Know I'm out of any idear how to fix my problem. I really don't want to do a clean new install because the server is my vCenter and Backup Exec Server too.
I think there should be a way to solve the problem, that is why ask you here.
For me there seems to be a problem with a driver or something, but I need to know what device is to blame for the interruption.
To give you an idear what happened I attach the setuperr.log from the panther and rollback directory of the upgrading process.
