HP, ProLiant DL160 G5 does not boot up but ends with cursor on screen.
Hi HP server users, i am newbie and bought my first server which is 2nd hand HP, ProLiant DL160 G5.
I am trying to install windows 2012 but it ends up cursor blinking forever (booting off from USB, checked its bootable)
Anyway, thought its not compatible but it same thing happens with windows 2008 R2 as well.
Is it dead piece i bought ??
Please help as HP Support is worst as they dont allow ay downloads from their website or offer support as my server is out of warranty.
Any HP system veteren can advise me if its worth spending time on HP crap or just chuck it in bin. Bought this one to do my study and learning on servers.
Regards
Ron
