Re: "cclogd" process eating too much CPU

This is a known problem -

//Start
SR 8606179466 / DTS JAGad48690: 2. On systems which use the chassis code logging
daemon (cclogd), like Superdome, N-Class, L-Class,
and A-Class, the daemon will go into an endless
loop at a certain point, and use a high percentage of the CPU.
//End

Get the latest patche installed. PHSS_24044.

Re: "cclogd" process eating too much CPU

This is a known problem, if you are the stm version A.24 you need to install the patch PHSS_23655.

Re: "cclogd" process eating too much CPU

What version of STM are you running? You can check this by typing 'cstm' and checking the output which will show the version number. The version number should look like this:

A.25.00

There is a new version of STM which includes a newer patched version of cclogd available on HP's software site: software.hp.com. The full url is:

http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProductInfo.pl?productNumber=B6191AAE

Scroll to the very bottom of the screen and select try now. This is a full version, but for some reason everything here is 'Try Now'. Once you get it downloaded you can install it with swinstall. This is version A.28.00 which supercedes the patches listed above. I hope that this helps.
