XP12000 and raid manager questions
Hi,
I have adopted and enviroment with 2 XP12000 storages, at the moment I don't have access to the XP's only to the Operating System(HPUX 11.11,11.31), I need to get a general Idea of the enviroment replication configuration, CA's,BC's configured and also a notion of the total space used/configured on the XP's.
I was thinking off getting the output from all the hosts of #xpinfo -il, and #ls /dev/dsk/*|raidscan -find -fx -I"INSTANCE NUMBER", and saving the /etc/hormc* files
is there a better way to do this kind of inventory without access to the XP's?
is there a better way to run the raidscan command?.
Thanks

Re: XP12000 and raid manager questions
Hi,
In the End I did a pairdisplay of all the raid groups, also raidscan and xpinfo -il of all the hosts, I also got the horm* files, with all that info I had no problem getting all the info I needed.
