Searching in ITRC

I find often that the serach in ITRC is very inconsistent. May be i am making a mistake. For example i searched for hp-ux (in ITRC forums search)and this is what i got

http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/james/searchForums.do?searchText=hp-ux&searchCriteria=allwords&searchOptionITRC=true&searchCategoryITRC=ALL&searchIn=entireThread&author=&threadType=0&datePosted=0&sortOption=rank&resultsPerPage=25&x=23&y=5

Could someone please help?

Thanks

Mike.

Re: Searching in ITRC

use google as follows instead

hp-ux site:itrc.hp.com

you will get more relevant results. even if you omit the site: directive from google search and put you r query next to word hpux, most probably top few links will be from ITRC anyway. At least this has been my experience.

Re: Searching in ITRC

Thanks!

Yes google is an option. But the search in ITRC use to work before. Not sure why it is not working now,

Thanks

Re: Searching in ITRC

Yep, Google is the way these days. Even for the forums.

I would open the Forums "Advanced Search". Enter something and get no result. Put the exact same thing into Google. It's top results are from the HP Forums.

Crazy in-deed.
