Re: Attn Moderators

I have a 6910p notebook with a LG GCC-4247N DR-RW/DVD Drive which tries to read any media and won't. I was able to only burn one cd and that was it. I went to the driver update page under my model at HP and nothing is listed. I've learn this is a big problem with this drive through google. Is there a firmwar update for this drive or any support? Thanks

If the notebook is under warranty call HP.

Also, rather than posting here, you might get some advice/input from other owners by posting in the notebook specific forum.

Re: Attn Moderators

I should note for the record the link above for drivers is for 32-bit, whereas this notebook comes with a 64-bit pre-load. FYI.

Re: Attn Moderators

The DV9330CA has listings for Vista 64bit as well, but they are AMD drivers, too.

Hi Cheryl,

The issue with the DV9330CA has been fixed, the pages will be updated today.

We are also looking into the issue with HP Total Care - I've asked Cynthia to email with more details of the update,

Cheers & thanks again for flagging this,
