Sanitization and Letters of Volatility

Due to government requirements concerning the sanitization of  memory on devices used for government projects or classified information the need has risen for the details of a products memory.  Also needed are instruction on how to delete any non-volatile memory as well as how to clear any volatile memory.  Other industry partners have already begun to set up addition to their web pages and support sections with these Letters of Volatility or sanitization procedures. As project close up or equipment is not longer needed it is becoming expensive to mothball or destroy items that cannot be "cleaned" properly.  As a matter of course it will become more financially beneficial to order equipment from companies that provide this information.  Is HP in the process of setting something similar up or is there a specific contact within the support team that can provide the necessary information.  As it stands today, it is hit or miss or just about impossible to obtain this information from HP.

How can we work to fix this?

Re: Sanitization and Letters of Volatility

I have a problem finding a letter of volatility for the HP ProLiant ML530. If anyone has one or knows who to contact at HP for one, please let me know.

Re: Sanitization and Letters of Volatility

Agilent bought out a great deal of HP equipment. And Agilent is very good at this issue.   http://rfmw.em.keysight.com/aerospace/index.aspx
