HPE Tech Pro Community Success at HPE Discover 2019

The HPE Tech Pro Community Lounge was up and running from June 17th to June 20th. The lounge was a popular destination for those looking for a space to relax, catch up with old friends and colleagues, and take a breather from the excitement of the week. Each day a new round of activities and opportunities to get certified were offered to those who stopped by.

HPE Tech Pro Community partnered with Intel® to create a VIP Lounge dedicated to HPE and partner solution architects. The lounge was humming with over 500 visitors and allowed HPE Tech Pro members to have a space to network, collaborate, and have some fun! The cool solutions architects were all wearing HPE Tech Pro purple! 

HPE Tech Pro University was onsite in Las Vegas providing free technical training classes and free certification exams. Participants were not only able to save up to $4,460 dollars in free training and certification but also able to impress their colleagues by leaving Vegas with new HPE technical certifications! HPE Master ASE’s got more badges and swag, as well as 30% off all hardback and eBooks. As an added bonus, all other attendees were rewarded by HPE Tech Pro with 25% off their purchases of hardback or eBooks. Master ASE and Aruba CE's were invited to a special VIP reception on Wednesday evening, which we will be exclusively addressing in our next blog post.

One of the biggest events in the lounge for our community was the Churros and Certification Chat hosted by Rich Gossman and Rebecca O’Brien. The benefits of HPE certifications, information on how to earn your first certification or your path to a Maser ASE Certification were discussed, all while enjoying delicious churros.

In addition to the events going on, we also created quite a buzz on social media. Tweets using the #’s HPEPartnerSummit, HPETechPro and HPEDiscover reached 119,856 people and had 1,980 engagements. LinkedIn was also leveraged to provide news and updates for the HPE My Learning and HPE Master ASE Communities. Overall, the HPE Tech Pro Community event allowed for an amplitude of networking, collaboration and celebration for our dedicated HPE solution architects. It was a pleasure to meet new friends and see old ones. We want to extend a thank you to all who stopped by the lounge and made this event so successful.
