Re: Catch the next wave of HPE Discover Virtual Experience. Join us for Software Week on July 29!
Learn to accelerate transformation when non-cloud native apps running your business can't move to the cloud, and data is exploding and living everywhere.
During HPE Discover Virtual Experience, HPE announced significant advancements to the companyโs edge-to-cloud platform-as-a-service strategy through new HPE GreenLake cloud services and the introduction of HPE Ezmeral, a new brand for the software portfolio. The HPE Ezmeral software portfolio demonstrates the commitment to provide a differentiated portfolio of enterprise software to help modernize applications, harness data to unlock insights, and automate operationsโfrom edge to cloud.
HPE has assembled an impressive solutions portfolio to help customers navigate their new normalโnow and in the post-pandemic world. And software is a critical and important component of this strategy.
HPE believes it is also essential to help customers succeed in their data-driven digital transformation journeys. Business innovation relies on applications and data. The apps and data running the enterprise now live everywhereโin data centers, in colocation centers, at the edge, and in the cloud. Data is exploding, with more and more being generated at the edge.
Most of the applications running businesses today are not cloud-native, so we know youโre having real issues with non-cloud-native apps that will not or cannot move to the public cloud due to data gravity, latency, application dependency, and regulatory compliance reasons.
And because the volume of data is growing, itโs driving the need for AI and machine learning at enterprise-scaleโwith the ability to harness and leverage petabytes of data.
This is where HPE can and will help. With HPE Ezmeral, HPE is delivering software to help customers with the next wave in enterprise technology innovation for data-driven digital transformation.
Meet the HPE Ezmeral Software Portfolio
In choosing a name for the software portfolio, we selected Ezmeralโa derivative of the Spanish word for emeraldโbecause emeralds have mythical powers of strengthening intelligence, predicting future events, easing stress, and enhancing immunity. And, similar to the transformation an emerald gemstone goes through to become a cut and polished jewel, HPE Ezmeral enables the transformation of apps, data, and ops to accelerate time-to-value, unlock insights, and boost agility.
The HPE Ezmeral software portfolio allows you to:
- Run modern containerized applications and turn data into insights and actions
- Optimally manage environments- from infrastructure up the stack
- Introduce control by ensuring governance and cost compliance
- Provide enterprise-grade security and authentication to applications
While HPE Ezmeral software is licensed in a traditional model, HPE also offers a pay-per-use consumption in an as-a-service model with HPE GreenLake. HPE recently announced several new cloud service offerings from HPE GreenLake, including containerization management and machine learning operations, powered by HPE Ezmeral Container Platform and HPE Ezmeral ML Ops.
