Do more with less ongoing maintenance and support: HPE ProLiant Servers + Windows Server 2019

Productivity and efficiency are key elements of business success. That makes IT management complexity doubly problematic. Because the business relies on IT to fuel efficiency and productivity, if IT is mired down in complexity, they canโ€™t support the business with the innovation it needs to thrive. On the other hand, streamlining and simplifying server management creates a virtuous cycle where IT staff can become more efficient and productive, which in turn makes the whole business more efficient and productive. And it all starts with simple and automated management features built into HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers and complemented by Windows Server 2019.

First, HPE builds intelligence into every HPE ProLiant Gen10 server with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) and HPE OneView. Together they simplify and automate many management tasks in critical areas such as server deployment and configuration, health and alerting, energy, power, remote management, and warranty and contract information. And itโ€™s all accessible via a cloud-based portal.

HPE iLO 5 features the latest innovations in simplified operations, performance, and security to provide consistent insight into the health and operation of HPE servers. It also provides the tools to manage servers more efficiently, resolve issues quickly, and keep the business running. All HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers some with iLO 5 Standard, and upgrading to iLO 5 Advanced (available for free through the end of 2020) provides additional features, such as a graphical remote console, multi-user collaboration, video record/playback, remote management, and much more.

HPE OneView transforms servers, storage, and networking into a cohesive, software-defined infrastructure with a global dashboard for the entire infrastructure. This software-defined intelligence enables automated provisioning with repeatable templates that ensure high reliability, consistency, and controlโ€”helping eliminate complex manual processes and increase the speed and flexibility of IT to support the business.

Microsoft adds to the management simplicity with Windows Admin Center (WAC). IT admins used to have to open dozens of consoles on a daily basis. Now WAC brings multiple consoles together in a modernized, simplified, integrated, and secure remote-management experience. WAC enables managing Windows Serverยฎ and Windowsยฎ 10 instances anywhere, including physical systems or virtual machines on any hypervisor or running in any cloud. And, there are unique HPE WAC extensions to help businesses of all sizes be able to gain quick insights on their servers when it matters most.

Together HPE and Microsoft help tame IT complexity so businesses can focus on moving forward. Itโ€™s just one of the reasons why we say HPE and Microsoft give you more for less.
