Frequently, IT innovations come along that promise to be THE answer to a significant issue facing today’s enterprises. Cloud – especially the public variety - definitely fits into that category. It seemed to be the answer to the major issues of constantly-rising costs, rapidly-changing technologies and lack of agility that were plaguing the data center. Compliance, privacy, access and even cost issues arose made it clear that enterprise needed more.
