One size fits one
By Sean O'Connell
Frequently, IT innovations come along that promise to be THE answer to a significant issue facing today’s enterprises. Cloud – especially the public variety - definitely fits into that category. It seemed to be the answer to the major issues of constantly-rising costs, rapidly-changing technologies and lack of agility that were plaguing the data center. Yet it soon became clear that a one-size fits all approach to the cloud was a perfect fit for one … or perhaps even none. Compliance, privacy, access and even cost issues arose made it clear that enterprise needed more.
That’s why HPE has focused on creating hybrid cloud solutions that can address the full range of requirements for a full range of enterprises. We have created a “Right Mix” strategy that helps define exactly which cloud approaches are best for each client.
In March, we introduced the HPE Right Mix Advisor that defines the ideal hybrid cloud mix for businesses with speed and accuracy. This service recommends which workloads and applications are ideal to move to public clouds, or keep in private clouds, and how to migrate those workloads to achieve the right mix of hybrid cloud (https://www.hpe.com/us/en/solutions/cloud.html) according to each business’s specific need.
The Right Mix at SAP GPS
Now, you can find out exactly how the HPE Right Mix:
- Applies to the Intelligent Suite
- Helps your customers select the “right size that fits them”
- Boosts sales
Just take in the following venues /sessions at the SAP Global Partner Summit being held on May 6 in Orlando:
- Visit our kiosk and have a conversation with one of our experts on our Hybrid Cloud for the Intelligent Suite Note that HPE is dedicating its activities and sessions to Hybrid Cloud, so we are THE people to talk to on the topic.
- Attend the HPE session titled Realizing Hybrid Cloud for the Intelligent Suite. Two of our recognized gurus - Peter Koslowski and Xavier Poisson – will address the topic on Monday, May 6, from 11:00-11:20 AM in West Concourse, Hall F, Microforum A. Both Peter and Xavier will be available after the session, if you want to continue the discussion. Note that Peter is the WW Head of the SAP Alliance for HPE. Xavier is HPE’s Vice President, Worldwide Service Providers business and Cloud28+.
- Check out the Panel discussion from 1:30 – 2:30 PM in Theater 1, West Concourse, Hall F. Gary O’Neal, VP, Global Strategic Alliances will represent HPE. The topic (appropriately enough): Making the Case for Hybrid Cloud.
More opportunities to meet, discuss, explore, learn
HPE’s presence extends to and in all of next week’s SAP-related events. That means you your customers who may be attending will have multiple opportunities to see why 46% of SAP deployments run on HPE, and why HPE and SAP continue to strengthen one of the industry’s most powerful partnerships – now 29 years old.
