waiting for pka0.7.0.6.1 to poll....
I have just converted a XP1000 from NT to OpenVMS - very painful I might add. I get the above polling message for about 5 minutes. This involves the mother board SCSI controller
QLogic ISP1040 SCSI controller, which is a slow SCSI attached to just the CD and has one empty port. I have failed finding any documentation on the mother board for switch settings. I have also tried all the settings on pka0_soft_term, to no avail.
Any ideas?

Re: waiting for pka0.7.0.6.1 to poll....
Update & corrections:
The CD is on an IDE controller, not SCSI.
I found the mother board diagram on the inside cover, and that was a help.
I tried a new SCSI 2 cable, but no luck so far.
