[Proliant XL420] Raid6 with P816i-a

Hi,

I have a HPe PROLIANT XL420 with 24 drives with 8 TB. I want to create an array with more than 4 drives and use the RAID6. But, no matter the number of disks in the array, I only have the choice between RAID0 and RAID0+1.. I have searched a lot and I don't find how to access other RAID modes. Do you know why? Thanks.

Hello,

Nobody have an idea? Why can I only create RAID0 on this controller?

Please share the complete information of the server ( Generation of Proliant XL420....Like Gen8, Gen9 or Gen10) as well as the Appolo Chassis model.
