What “busy season”? National Tree Company transforms infrastructure with HPE Nimble Storage dHCI
I’m always interested to hear from customers and learn how they leverage innovation to achieve real business outcomes. Here is another fantastic success story.
When exploring IT infrastructure options for better performance in processing customer orders, National Tree Company, a large manufacturer of artificial holiday décor, turned to HPE Nimble Storage dHCI and partner PKA Technology. National Tree Company’s digital journey was transformative, moving them from a primarily manual business operation to interconnecting their warehouses, and speeding up their entire printing and shipping process.
I love what the customer has to say about their digital transformation. “The words ‘busy season' will become obsolete for us as faster order processing allows us to operate and make decisions for the business more quickly,” said Jason Grenard, Director of IT, National Tree Company. “A quicker system has changed the way we live and work by making disruptions and complex infrastructure management a thing of the past, allowing us to sleep better, think, and focus on the business.”
With HPE Nimble Storage dHCI, National Tree Company is now able to print and process orders as needed, in as little as 20 minutes, compared to overnight, leading to a 70 percent increase in production, and eliminating backorders. This has drastically improved the entire workflow for warehouse processing and order printing, allowing National Tree Company to get shipments out the door and to their customers faster.
I’m excited for all the customers we’ve helped including National Tree Company with the uniquely architected HPE Nimble Storage dHCI solution. Customers get the simplicity and ease-of-use that they love about HCI — but for all your apps. HPE Nimble Storage disaggregated HCI (dHCI) delivers a hyperconverged experience that includes business-critical speed and resiliency – plus – independent scaling of compute and storage.
