Management Network Change - Activate a Network Configuration Profile
We have a scenario whereby the management subnet and associated IP's on a Nimble array need to be changed to a new range due to planned network changes.
We have created a draft configuration profile (copied from the active profile) and have made the required changes to the draft profile and validated it.
The iSCSI data subnet/settings are not changing, so these have been left as per the active profile.
The plan was to activate the draft profile then change the vlan on the physical switchports, but when we go to activate the profile, there is a warning stating:
"Are you sure you want to make the draft configuration the active network configuration? To avoid interruptions to any hosts' iSCSI connections, before you modify the discovery, target or data IP addresses in the active network configuration, verify that the hosts are no longer connected to these addresses."
We have only changed the management settings, the data (iSCSI) is unchanged. When the profile is applied, are we going to lose connectivity to our production servers (vSphere 6.7 hosts with MPIO are in use) - ie by activating the draft profile, will the data network config be re-applied causing the hosts to lose access to the storage?

Re: Management Network Change - Activate a Network Configuration Profile
By default Data should not get affected. However, it is recommended to perform this in a maintenance window , vVOLs will be affected when you change the management IPs..
