Distributed Trunking between 5406Rzl2 and 5412Rzl2

Hi all,


we have a 5406Rzl2 (VJ9850A) #KB.16.04.0009 as Layer 3 switch at the core and we bought a 5412Rzl2 (J9822A) all with v3 modules.We wanted to do VSF between them, but this is not possible because of the different chassis.


So, we thought of Distributed Trunking. Is that possible considering the different chassis?
If we can do Distributed Trucking is it possible to implement and VRRP for L3 redundancy?

Yes, it is. There is not a requirement about having a 6 slots chassis (or a 12 slots chassis) on both DT Members, you can mix them. See here.
