Hi,
In fact I wanted to know how to configure VSF on two aruba 2930F.
Switch 1:
vsf member 1 link 1 27
vsf member 1 link 1 28
vsf member 1 priority 160
vsf enable domain 5
Switch 2:
vsf member 2 link 1 27
vsf member 2 link 1 28
vsf member 2 priority 150
vsf enable domain 5
What I need to configure more ? And how should i setup the cables physically ?
I'm new to Aruba switches and don't know quite a lot.
Thanks

SolutionHi @keshavboodhun, first of all, if not already done, start by updating both your two Aruba 2930F switches with the latest WC.16.10 software release (see here).
Once done, familiarize with VSF deployments by reading the VSF Best Practice guide available here (start with "VIRTUAL SWITCHING FRAMEWORK (VSF) DEPLOYMENT" paragraph at page 3) and also have a look on the VSF dedicated chapter on the Aruba 2930F management & configuration guide here. (Chapter 20 "VSF Virtual Switching Framework" at page 632 of 759).
The commands you listed are OK but you need to understand the background first so please have a read to the document I linked above (cabling, in your example, should go 1/27 to 2/27 and 1/28 to 2/28 where 1 and 2 represents the VSF members, so from VSF member 1 to VSF member 2, port 27 to port 27 and port 28 to port 28).
I'm not an HPE Employee

Re: VSF between Aruba 2930F
Hi Parnassus,
Thanks for the guides, it indeed helped me out.
Also I realised that I should configure lacp & spanning tree on my distribution switch as well.
Thanks & Regards
