What is Exchange Server Inter-Organization Replication

I had studied Exchange Server Inter-Organization Replication. It is used to replicate the public folders to another machine.

Can We replicate the mailboxes, or everything of the exchange server to another machine.

Re: What is Exchange Server Inter-Organization Replication

Are you trying to just backup your email, make a redundant email server,
or are you trying to connect 2 systems?

inter-organization replication is used to synchronize two or more Exchange 2000 organizations. it is used to sync directory info not the actual messages in the mailbox.

inter-organization public folder replication service is only available in Exchange 5.5.
