We have a BL35p, with a 1RU power enclosure. At the moment, this power enclosure is connect to a HP PDU then to our main power.
We will be relocating the servers over to a co-location center, and this center do not allow us to connect the HP PDU to the main power, but we must use the APC power rail provided.
Would like to check if anybody know if the HP PDU for the blade power enclsoure is doing anything special compared with other non-HP PDU, as I would like to check if we can use the APC power rail for the blade power enclosure to get power in.
Many thanks for your help. KL

Re: 1U Power Enclosure
Is there anything else other than standard power cords coming from the HP-PDU to the 1U blade power enclosure? If not, then you can connect any PDU including the APC as long as the correct power requirements are met. What model is this HP PDU?

Re: 1U Power Enclosure
No, there are no other component.
The HP PDU part number is 252663-B33. Let me know what you think. Many thanks. KL

Solution
You can connect the blade 1RU power enclosure to any C19 outlet with the correct VA rating. There is nothing special about this HP PDU. Collocation centers usually take care of the power rating requirements so don't worry about leaving the HP PDU out.
